The light flickered in the small study, shadows danced across every surface. Nothing appeared solid, looking to be in a perpetual waterfall of many hues; colors had also become devoid in this room, turning into a broad spectrum of ancient browns and vague blacks. Wisdom, or at the very least countless years of passing, seemed to seep from the very walls of this ageless place. It seemed as though time was simply a number that would grow without consequence, for the study remained regardless.
